USA Bobsled Athlete Venessa D’Arpino shares her passion for fitness and E3Live Superfoods
University of Oregon graduate Venessa D'Arpino is training to become a USA Bobsled athlete with hopes to make the USA 2022 Winter Olympics Team. She is an Oregon native and a 2013 recognized Oregon Athlete of the Year. Venessa holds a few high school, college and state records and is a NCAA Track and Field All-American. We check in with Venessa about training, healthy lifestyle and E3Live superfoods!
Tell us about yourself.
Hey guys, yes, I am training currently as a USA Bobsled Developing Pilot for women’s Bobsled. The sport chose me after a pretty successful track and field Career at the University of Oregon.

I have always been a goal setter and the dreams of being an Olympian or professional athlete is something I have always strived for. I am the daughter of Brian and Sherry D’Arpino and sister to Kerissa and Cory D’Arpino, and I am just a small-town girl, with big-time dreams.
When and why did you become interested in a healthy lifestyle?
My health has always been a priority. Proper nutrition helps me perform better in my daily life, as well as in sports.
Besides running and Bobsled training, what is your favorite fitness activity?
I would say my favorite past time fitness activities are lifting weights of course, but also, I love hiking and swimming!
What is your go-to healthy meal?
A go-to healthy meal for me would be chicken and rice, with a salad. But I also love making smoothie bowls! I top them with all sorts of delicious toppings and they are full of different nutrients.
What E3Live superfoods do you take and how/when/for what?
I take BrainON and Blue Majik, as well as E3RenewMe!.
What is the difference in your overall athletic performance since you started incorporating E3Live superfoods? What did you notice first/overall and the most?
I have noticed improvement in my focus, as well as energy. I enjoy that feeling and that started right away. Overall, it has become a habit to take E3 superfoods and I feel odd without it.
What's your secret to health and happiness?
Finding a passion and living out the dreams that come with it.

Do what you enjoy.

Make fitness fun and surround yourself with people who have similar goals who will also help you achieve them.
What's next for you?
My next plan is to move to Lake Placid, NY and train as much as possible for the upcoming Bobsled season.

Venessa’s Blue Majik Smoothie Bowl
with E3Live's Blue Majik

My favorite recipe is actually very simple.

I love taking Blue Majik and blending it with frozen mango, pineapple and banana. I use coconut water as the base and add chia seeds.

Then, I use it to make a smoothie bowl and include any cravings of my choosing for the toppings. This can include granola, almonds, blueberries or raspberries, just to name a few.

After adding Blue Majik to this smoothie base, I now add it to almost every blended drink I make!
