Track & Field Coach Werner and his star runner share E3 success stories
Coach Douglas Werner is a coach on a mission to train young runners to become better at their sport though his training techniques and also by fueling their brains and bodies with healthy choices.

He formed the High Altitude Track Club in the Klamath Falls, Oregon area to help local athletes achieve their goals. Coach Werner introduced some of his running stars to E3Live superfoods to see how it affected their athletic performance. We check in with Coach Werner and one of his most promising runners about athletic performance, health, happiness and E3Live superfoods.
COACH DOUGLAS WERNER
Coach Douglas Werner is a USATF Certified Coach, specializing in Sprints, Relays, and Jumps. He has coached receivers and defensive backs for a Pop Warner team and then began coaching high school football receivers and defensive backs before becoming a middle school track coach. Coach Werner runs the High Altitude Track Club and shares his love of E3Live superfoods with his athletes.
Tell us about yourself
I am a husband, a dad and a grandfather. Professionally, I coach and pour concrete. For my personal time I am an avid snowboarder.
When did you discover E3Live superfoods?
I discovered E3Live Superfoods, back in 2013. I took my first shot, and felt alive, within 2 minutes. I was sold.
Which E3Live superfoods do you take? when do you take them? what do you take them for?
I’m a huge fan of frozen E3Live including BrainON and BrainON Supreme, plus E3RenewMe! and Blue Majik. I’m an old(ish) guy. I need every advantage I can get my hands on, to keep up with these high schoolers, middle schoolers, and the occasional young adult.
What is the difference in your overall athletic performance since you started incorporating E3Live superfoods? What did you notice first/overall and the most?
As far as my athletic performance is concerned, I couldn’t imagine being without E3Live. I coach high school track, plus High Altitude Track Club (my year-round USATF team), all at the same time. The E3Live products that I take not only boost my energy, by themselves, but they get my system firing on all cylinders and that, in itself boosts my energy even more, but on a long-term level. It’s literally the most nutrient dense substance on our planet. How can it not be the fountain of youth (so to speak)??!! I’m 41 years old and can snowboard, and demonstrate sprint, jump and relay techniques with the energy of a 25 year old. I have the energy to work my own workout program after I get done working out dozens of athletes, DAILY......and that is no exaggeration. If I didn’t have access to E3Live, I don’t think I would ever be able to work my daily routine. I love my work, and the E3 product line is a major part of me being able to enjoy my rigorous schedule.
What are your #1 health and fitness tips?
Number one health tip is to mind your acids. You can fight infection much more effectively and have a ton more energy, which burns calories. If you try to make your body alkaline, you’ll have all-around better health.

Number one fitness tip: Set big goals but think and fuel for today.

Progress today and tomorrow will come. When you’re in the hardest parts of your regimen, thinking about today, is so much easier than thinking about the daunting 3 weeks in front of you.
What's next for you?
I am working my new baby – Flight 8 Athletics. I’ll be training high performance athletes, and appearance based athletes. This is a sprint-based program, for anyone can that can handle the intensity. Only 33% of my program is in a gym. I’ve proven the results, but it’s definitely not for everyone.
ATHLETE BEN CARRINGER
8 year old Ben Carringer was diagnosed with Type-1 Diabetes and went through some unspeakably hard moments to figure out how to be a student, a musician and an athlete…and still manage his disease. Since being diagnosed with diabetes, he became a 4 time state champion last scholastic season, He has several USATF State Jr. Olympic medals and has placed very high at USATF Region 13 Jr. Olympic Championships in the 100, 200, and Long Jump events. Ben is a high school senior, and has been named 2020 Valedictorian of his high school, and named Boys Captain of High Altitude Track Club. He is planning on majoring in music and is an accomplished piano player. Ben takes E3Live superfoods to fuel his performance.
Tell us about yourself
My name is Benjamin Carringer, and I am a Senior at Mazama High School in Klamath Falls, Oregon. I have lived in Oregon for almost eight years. Despite this, I am an East Coast resident at heart. I grew up in Maine and spent many years in the small town of Fort Kent.

My interests include music, sports, science, and history. I am a piano player for my school’s Jazz Band and really enjoy performing and writing music. Athletics are also a prominent aspect of my life. I was primarily a football and basketball player, but after a serious shoulder injury, I gravitated towards track. My Christian faith has been a constant driving factor in my athletic and academic success.
When did you discover E3Live superfoods?
I was first introduced to E3 superfoods when I first began training with High Altitude Track and Field Club. Maintaining adequate blood sugars and managing Type-1 Diabetes became a constant struggle to balance with sports. To better my training and physical output, I altered my diet and E3Live products were the main superfoods I utilized. These supplements provided both physical and mental energy during training without negatively effecting my sugars. E3Live products became a healthy option.

The two primary E3Live products I take are BrainON and the classic E3Live (Original) fresh-frozen. I take E3Live before practices, track meets, and for recovery. BrainON is something I take before scholastic activities such as tests and projects.
What is the difference in your overall athletic performance since you started incorporating E3Live superfoods? What did you notice first/overall and the most?
E3 products have provided an effective way to increase my energy and overall athletic performance. When I first tested the product during a track practice, I immediately felt a second wind of power and strength. My workouts were maximized far better than any energy or sports supplement had ever done for me. Also, my recovery time was reduced, and I experienced fewer aches and pains after hard workouts.
What are your #1 health and fitness tips?
My number one fitness tips would have to be: Despite a busy schedule, always find time during your day to incorporate physical activity, and make sure to set personal goals. Exercise is habitual; If you make a habit of exercising and creating reasonable work out goals, you will find extra motivation and see results.
What is next for you?
As I step into the future, I will be balancing my passions between athletics and music. I am planning on attending Bible Institute of Los Angeles (Biola University) this fall on a track and academic scholarship while majoring will be in music/film composition.
